fun with prints

I'm really pleased with this, its not quite what I want and I still need to experiment with printing a bit more to fully achieve it but this shows that what i want to achieve is possible. I created this by drawing the image out first like i normally would, that using a sheet of acetate I would lay it over the image and then using the printing inks and some white spirits (to water it down) i would paint over the image. I really like this technique cause it means I can get the whole 'drawing accurately and correctly stuff out of the way first, then focus on adding tone and being a bit more spontaneous. Also it means that when Im putting the acetate through the press I cant be 100% sure what its gonna look like when it comes out so it makes me kinda nervous XD - Plus due to how watered down the ink needs to be for this I cant reprint the plate, once its printed too much of the ink comes off and so I have to start all over again.
